How we got started!
How we got started!
We have all been to the social gathering where you are around people you know but might see once every 7 years. Then ensues the awkward small talk; "Are you dating anyone?", "Are you working?", "When are you going to get married", "When are you going to have kids?" the question list goes on and on. During these situations we found ourselves always gravitating towards the yard games at the event. We figured we couldn't be the only people looking for that escape! So we developed BackyardGR! The intention is to help members of your event have a great time but also help prevent the awkward conversations with Uncle Stewart!

Andrew plays a key role in bringing Backyard GR to the Metro Detroit area. The idea for Backyard GR actually started with Andrew. When Adam brought a collection of backyard games to Andrew’s bachelor party, the games quickly became the highlight of the weekend. Seeing how much fun everyone had, Andrew encouraged Adam and Tanner to turn the idea into a business so others could enjoy the same experience at their own events.
A longtime friend of Adam’s, Andrew has stayed closely connected to Backyard GR over the years. Now based in Metro Detroit, he helps bring Backyard GR’s collection of interactive lawn games to weddings, corporate events, graduation parties, and backyard gatherings throughout the east side of the state!
